Ignite the fire within
“Ignite the Fire Within” was the slogan of the day at the NMMU Open Day 2016, which took place on the 6th and 7th of May.
Both days were a massive success, with a multitude of prospective students and schools browsing the many exciting qualifications NMMU has to offer.
From Dietetics, which just celebrated their first MSc graduate, to Interior Design - students couldn’t believe that so many diverse possibilities colour their tertiary education. Many commented that there were a good couple of qualifications they didn’t even know of!
The sounds of Madibaz radio added to the beat of the day, and the awe-inspiring dance moves of our NMMU cheerleading team lead the groove.
Congratulations are also in order for the Journalism, Media and Philosophy team who won 3rd place as the most visually appealing expo sand.
All in all, to the future graduates of NMMU, we can’t wait to WELCOME YOU! We hear your voices, we feel your enthusiasm, and we see your potential to change the world.
