Reflections

There are approximately 3 months left of the academic year. Seriously, where did the time go?

I think everyone should give themselves a pat on the back, just to congratulate themselves for making it this far. Given that we are not yet at the finish line, but still crawling towards it, it is always a good thing to look back at all that you have accomplished so far this year and compare it to all that you were planning to accomplish so as to determine how far you have gone and how far you still need to go. Below are a few ideas to make the rest of the year successful.

  • Reflect on all the resolutions you had made when the year began and find out how much work and effort you still need to put on. This is relevant not only to your academic resolutions.

  • Make new resolutions (if you feel the need to). It will not hurt to set new goals for the remainder of the year. Remember, every day is a new beginning, so don't wain until next year to set new goals.

  • Have fun! The last few months of 2016 do NOT have to be boring. You know what they say - work hard, play hard!
